Hi 

I have been programming for about 1 year but only programming in HTML  -
helping on one quite large site we developed and have made minor amendments
to 2 sites.

I now need to create a 700 product e-commerce site and could do with some
advice. What we have decided to do is create the site then add the cart at
the back-end. Apparently, it is possible to upload from a database to
product pages however I don't fully understand this concept, let alone how
it can be done! The pages are to display :  product title, product image, a
description, price, quantity, attribute fields i.e. size and colour and an
add to cart button on the template design. 

We then need to send the title, our store name, price, quantity, and the URL
of the page to return to , to the cart. This part is easy enough and I can
do it.  Then we need to set the product code depending on the attributes the
customer selects. This I know must be possible but am not sure how it could
be done. 

If any of you have 1 idea of how this can be done I'd like to hear it.
Please advise!
