Wonderful sites there.  And I'm happy to see your personal sites go into
this subject further.

As I sidenote I can say those superbad.com and buduglly sites are nice in
their setup.  What scares me though is I've seen sites that eactually are as
bad made, but not on purpose.  I really hope more effort would be made with
clean/exciting but defenitely not ugly designs.  I mean... you can have
stylish and impressive all in one go, and what's nice, you don't have to
step into the over-flashed/screamy colours/intense backgrounds/... corridor.

Don't be tempted.

I can't agree enough with what you say. The web is a confusing enough place
without messing about with the few standards we have. Other things to add to
the list: status bar messages that obscure the URL etc, launching new
windows to break the back button, making it difficult to tell the difference
between visited and unvisited links by silly colour choices,  and so on.

You might find my sites annoying, but I hope not (at last on usability
grounds) - and if I was really worried, I wouldn't give the URL in my sig, I
guess <G>
