I'm, not calling spam good, but if you see how many spam there is and how
inexperienced users are, I'd safely say there's only a very small chance of
your ISP to react.

I would personally not call this spam, as it's not a bulk-mailing.  It's a
personalised mailing offering a service which could be something the target
is looking for.  It's called trying to meet the market's needs or having
personal contact with potential customers.  If you'd start a case over this,
I think you'd win no problem.

However, I'd also not wildly go and start sending mails, but do good
research.  You wouldn't go and write to firms only to find out they're
living the other side if the world.

What you suggest, I absolutely would send to the abuse@ISP and
Administrators of a website (after looking up who that is on a whois site).
What you are suggesting will usually have your domain host pull your site -
no questions asked. It's called SPAM

Instead, try networking, asking for testimonials and referral.  Doing some
speaking engagements or whatever ways would assist you to market with
integrity.  I have written a few articles on marketing you can read for

books to give you ideas.  Yes I said ideas... make them yours and make them
better!

I believe that everyone can market in ways that they enjoy.  I know I do!

of things) to look at 100 web sites, note the email addresses listed on
those sites of contact peoples, and contact the folks of those sites who I
feel I could improve upon with a "generic" email stating who I am, what I
