At times, it may not be possible to remove the "eye candy"", if this happens
to be what the client wants on their site. I am all in favor of compliancy
and W3C standards, but until the browsers support the standards, I will do
whatever is necessary to meet my clients' demands.

Sometimes it can't be done without changing
the page completely, and if that's the case, perhaps those that use it as
the 'eye candy' as someone put in an earlier post because they could be too
lazy to change the site enough to meet with the standards.

Simply my thoughts upon this matter.
