As the list grows, it will become increasingly difficult to locate
specifics. I would not chosse one or the either, but elements of both.
For the quick find ... I would choose the search index to guide me there
quickly and effortlessly.

If I had time on my hands and I was doing some research or just browsing
for something new, I wouldn't mind the long list of links ... BUT ... I
would prefer a short description of where I'm going before I choose to go
there. Perhaps in alphabetical order also so that I can locate something
again that I noticed on an earlier visit.

Additionally, the centering was not pleasing to my eye, I would prefer to
see them left justified and to have the descriptions indented if possible.

Organization is the key ... offer as many alternatives as you possibly can.

That's what I think.
