Yes.

According to the CSS2 spec
(http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-CSS2/fonts.html#font-family-prop): "Font family
names containing whitespace should be quoted".

Yes.  I've seen cases (although I can't remember which browser/platform)
where the font name was case-sensitive and the fonts weren't applied as I
expected.
