This assumes that the only way that a user will visit the site is
through the links page of another site (either a competitor or
the maker of a complimentary product.)  This is a dubious premise,
particularly for a commercial site, as that company probably already
has an advertising budget.  There are also listings in search engines
and industry/service-specific directories.

A study of the referer logs of the site should reveal how much
traffic comes to the site from lists of links on other sites, and
can also provide insights on the quality of that traffic (how many
of those visitors use the order form, for example.)
