I owe you one.  It worked perfectly.  I replaced all occurences of
document.temps. with document.forms[0]. and removed the name attribute of
the form and it still functions AND it validates.

This was the last remaining thing that did NOT validate.  The site is
integrated with PayPal's shopping cart service and automatically generates a
username and password to allow a single instance download of a purchased
file to the user upon succesful completion of a paypal purchase.  We just
redesigned the look of the site and I'm validating everything we design or
redesign now (haven't done this in the past).  Needless to say it is a true
learning experience for me, but I feel much better about the site when I
know that each page validates.

Thanks for the help.  Javascript is not my strong point.  I contribute
answers to the lists whenever I am able in many other areas like php, basic
design, databases, etc.  People like you make me proud to be part of this
type of organization/group (hope I don't sound too "mushy", just wanted to
say "thanks").
