Sandy,
You're on the right track.
Looking back at any of my horror stories, I can see that things might have
gone differently if I had been more honest and direct with the client. Just
starting out, I didn't know how to do that and tried to please everyone. You
can't do it. You have to have some basic parameters that you will do
business in, and stay within those parameters.
I've learned that the client would much rather be dissappointed at the
onset, than at the middle of the project.
