Hi All,
Someone asked recently if anyone had any alternatives for the normal
way to get into these search engines....
This probably won't get you into one of those directories/engines
that are now charging a fee, but it might work with the others. Last
spring I registered one of my clients with one of those freebie
27-in-one search engines. I decided I'd never do it again however
because that was when I started getting mega-junk mail. HOWEVER, this
client is now on every little search engine on the web and also in
every major engine except Yahoo and Looksmart. I also registered him
on Canada.com which I hear used to be the backdoor to Yahoo--or maybe
it was the backdoor to a lot of other little engines. I don't know
and don't care. The fact is he is all over the web now and especially
on Google which means he shows up on Yahoo. So, except for Looksmart,
he is all over the web. About once a month I go looking for a search
engine that doesn't have him listed and they are getting harder to
find.
Try it. You'll like it.
Lori
