I read your first question (on resolution) and I was glad to see someone 
giving you good instructions. As for an answer to the greyed out Save for the 
Web feature:
Yes, it is ImageReady technology that actually runs this feature, even though 
you do not have to have the ImageReady program open. So, I would assume not 
having IR loaded might have the effect that it is not available.
