document.images refers to the Image() constructor. It is a test to see if a
browser is able to preload images.

Subject: javascript Q

| In a number of sites I've seen "if (document.images) {" used before
rollover
| code for images.
|
| Question: What scenario is this condition in place for? I don't know of
any
| browsers that support JavaScript but don't support images. Even if
graphics
| are turned off in IE and NS a script using document.images still works.
