Hey all!

Thanks for the replies and help. I'll be sure to read up on CGI, PHP, Cold
Fusion, and all the other ones... Also, I'll try to watch the spelling and
grammar (Patti) : )

For now, here are some more questions for your enjoyment. Someone said
something about crowding the site with banners, but that's the only way I
might possibly get some income... or is it? The trouble is, once I get
this site up and running, it'll have to financially support itself.

As much as I am involved in the success of this project, I cannot keep
pouring what little I have into it. I need some way of getting money. I've
looked at the bigger news-style sites and they've used banners. What I plan
is to not have just any banner, but banners that would be especially
interesting and worth a look. I've checked around and there's another
possibility.

Chapters.ca has special advertizing methods (similar to Amazon - another
option) where you can search for books from any site. Since I will probably
be doing an article on books once a week, I figure this might help (using
the power of suggestive thought...).

I might also have to sink low enough to attach advertisments to the
hopefully successful newsletter...

For those of you who said they would be checking in now and then, I can tell
you right now that it's going to be a little while before I get enough cash
to set it up.

About hosting, I plan to go for Dreamhost. If anyone knows of any reason
why I shouldn't go for them, please let me know. Also, if any Canadians
know of anything close to home that is as cheap as Dreamhost, please...

Thanks in advance...
(I really really mean it this time...)

Ben
