     I find that print size depends a very large part on a person's printer, 
not the original size of the image. For instance, I would scan at 300 dpi to 
try to get a "real size" image to copy, but it would print a little smaller 
than that because my printer prints at 360 dpi. So I would suggest scanning at 
no more than 200 (to have a smaller download time. You may even be able to use 
100 or so) dpi, and then putting a note telling the people to use a "full page" 
option in their image program when they print it. Most programs have that 
option, so that's your best bet to solve your problem.
